Coffin Jig
This jig has worked well for lake trout, white fish, perch, bass, northern pike and others. You may see dimples on most of these jigs due to the added sound chamber. The added sound chamber allows you to whisper “Sweet Nothings” to reluctant fish to incite a bite.
These patterns work well on all above fish, but here are some of the favorites per species-
Whitefish- Disco Green, Disco Green with Red Sparkle, Disco Green with Disco Gold, Disco Gold with Red Sparkle, Perchy, Disco Firetiger, and Watermelon with Red Flake.
Lake Trout- All the glows work well, especially early in the year.
Perch- 1/4oz- Firetiger, Watermelon with Red Flake
